Abbot of the monastery of Condat in the 5th century, Saint Minase was an associate of Saint Lupicinus before choosing Saint Eugendus as his coadjutor. He enriched his church with relics of the apostles brought back from Rome and died around 490, leaving a venerated memory in the Jura.

Saint Minase co-directed the monastery of Condat with Saint Lupicin before appointing Saint Oyend as coadjutor due to his fragile health.
