A thief came to steal honey from his cell; the Saint converted him and said to him: "Do not return, for theft is the money of Satan." People came to him from all sides to obtain his prayers and healings; they brought him the sick and children tormented by throat ailments, and he healed them by the sign of the cross or by having them drink holy water. King Childebert offered him fifty gold coins; Eusice refused them and predicted his victory over Amalaric.
