Episcopacy and translation of the relics
Successor to Saint Simplicius, Paschasius recovered the remains of Saint Maurice from the Rhône to place them in the metropolitan church, establishing his patronage over Vienne.
He ascended to the see of Vienne after Saint Simplicius.
